Finally got around to another of my long-standing "nice to have" projects, and AIMFix now has a new custom icon to replace the old default "window" icon:

AIM Medic Icon

In case anyone is wondering, I used the aim.png file included with my install of Kubuntu Linux and edited it with The Gimp - go Open Source Software! ;)

New site look (as I'm sure you can see). I tend to get bored with layouts as it is, and the previous stonehenge incarnation has probably been the longest running version of jayloden.com yet. This time around it was a relatively minor change, mostly because I was too lazy to come up with an entirely new layout and color scheme, but I selected a new banner (cropped from an Infinite Geometry wallpaper I found on customize.org). A few colors were changed to match a little closer with the image and I changed the background tile to a solid. Hope you all enjoy a little change, and if you don't, well, the old stonehenge layout is still available as an alternate stylesheet :)

Ok, the bug is now fixed in the current version of AIMFix, thanks to the invaluable help of my friend Dave (author of polyfix and the original phxfix). I have uploaded a new version that should run without crashing now, and hopefully remove some new viruses that were updated for today as well. Thanks to everyone for your patience, sorry about the mishap, but it was a real pain in the butt to track this one down and it took a lot longer than I would have liked.

There is a bug in the current version of AIMFix that is causing it to crash any time it detects a bogus service. I have no idea what caused this to start happening, but I am looking into it (and have been for several hours) and hope to have a patched version up soon.

AIMFix has been bumped to version 1.6 due to all the bugfixes and changes this week, so the version number should now follow the format 1.6.$day.$time where $day is the date of the build and $time is the time of the build (down to the minute level).
