Most likely, you are being directed to this page because you are infected with the Funneh virus. Normally, the virus would be busy downloading more virus files or spyware/adware files to infect your computer. However, after contacting the owner of the site that was unwittingly hosting the virus files, the files have been replaced. Instead of downloading more viruses and junk, you will be redirected to this page every time the virus runs.
DO NOT SKIP STEPS
- Download (save to your Desktop) AIM, AIMFix, BlasTemp, Ad-Aware, Spybot, and HijackThis. If you do not have an antivirus installed, you will also need AntiVir antivirus.
- Reboot into Safe Mode with networking (see the Safe Mode page for instructions on getting into Safe Mode)
- Run AIMFix, then BlasTemp. This will remove any known virus components and remove all temporary files where viruses often hide. It will also make the rest of this go faster.
- Delete the entire contents of C:\Program Files\AIM - or wherever you installed AIM to. Then reinstall AIM, to replace any infected files or settings.
- Follow the spyware removal instructions, running Ad-Aware and Spybot to remove spyware components.
- Using AntiVir (or your own antivirus scanner if it runs in Safe Mode), run a virus scan and remove any infected files.
- Reboot into normal mode. If you are still experiencing problems, send a HijackThis log to a forum like subratam.org where they are experts at helping you removing spyware and other junk.
- Change your password to AIM immediately to prevent your account being stolen or hijacked.
